Technical Sales – Broadcast Systems Integrator
My client is an innovative media and broadcast systems integrator. The company offers a comprehensive range of services including workflow-design, project-planning, equipment installation, software-configuration, commissioning, documentation and on-site training.
It is one of Europe's leading suppliers of audio, video, transmission products and digital media solutions. The Group operates from offices in the United Kingdom and Europe.
The primary role of Technical Sales is on selling products & systems, and to prospect for new UK and international clients to increase business opportunities. It is also to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services that the company can offer.
A thorough knowledge of the broadcast and/or Pro AV market and the solutions/services the company can provide is required, backed up by a strong technical background. There will be a need to support both the proposing and delivery of products & systems to the customer, working closely with the engineering team.
The role will be based in the UK reporting to the Managing Director.
·Sales of solutions and products into broadcasters, corporate clients and related sectors
·Develop sales strategy and achieve sales targets
·Entails a balance of meeting clients, attendance at the office in the South East UK with the goal being the achievement orders and sales
Qualifications & Experience
·Good knowledge & 3+ years experience of broadcast systems, equipment & networks
·Batchelor's Degree is an advantage
·Proven track record in project/solution and product sales into the broadcast and/or Pro AV market
·Must be a new business ‘hunter’ capable of opening doors of new clients and closing deals
·Able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as individually
·Self-motivated, versatile and determined
