HR Specialist 

Our international news client is looking for a HR Specialist to join their HR department based in West London. You will be reporting to the HR Senior Manager and undertaking the processing of day-to-day HR operations, you will be responsible for implementation of HR practices and objectives that will provide a results-driven, high-performance culture which emphasizes quality, productivity and process improvement.

You will

  • Maintain management guidelines by implementing and administering human resource policies and procedures.
  • Organize and implement the recruitment and on-boarding process.
  • Participate employee relationship management process.
  • Implement and administer salary management and performance appraisal system, conduct evaluation and data collecting & analysing.
  • Administer Company’s freelancer guidelines and practices.
  • Support HR department to ensure the new hire orientation process properly introduces new employees to the corporate culture.
  • Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the company and individuals
  • Manage company People HR system.
  • Participate in company HR procurement procedures.
  • Any ad hoc duties as required

 

Requirements :

Essential:

  • Bachelor’ degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in in HR sector.
  • Extensive recruitment experience.
  • Understand UK employment laws, prevent risk and manage labour disputes.
  • Responsible, conscientious, patient and thrive under pressure.
  • Easy-going, motivated, hardworking, meticulous, rational, a good sense of teamwork and good communication.
  • Multi-tasking is crucial - you will be someone that is solutions focused and able to deliver on potentially complex matters in a timely and efficient way.

Desirable:

  • Work experience in multi-cultural background is preferred.
  • 2+ years of management experience in television news industry is preferred.

 

Salary according to experience. Circa £40 to £60k
