Leading global media company urgently requires a Data Entry Administrator

The role is Hybrid working - West London 1 day in office, 4 days remote/home

Working in the Data & Workflow, Content Management department

This is a full time role - 6 months FTC initially 

 

Job Description

The Content Management department is made up of Content Operations, Language Strategy, Photo Operations and Reversioning Compliance. The Data & Workflow team supports all teams within the Content Management group, providing critical data entry, data governance as well as regular and ad hoc reporting. The Data Entry Administrator will be responsible for accurately transferring data into both  company bespoke and broadcast systems as well as tracking documentation, on behalf of the Content Management department. This role will report into the Business Analyst escalating data gaps and discrepancies as well as collaborating on solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly data entry into critical tracking documents required for accurately reporting to Executive management, senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Data governance of both system and manually collated data, ensuring data accuracy
  • Methodically updating as new information is available
  • Building self-knowledge and understanding of the lifecycle data as it flows through Discovery’s systems and in-turn educating teams on best practices
  • Attending regular meetings to discuss data integrity and being confident and competent in recommending more efficient ways of tracking data
  • Maintain all tracking documents relating to languaging volumes

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to track issues to resolution.
  • Educated to A Levels standard, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Skilled in applications such Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs) and Microsoft Office particularly Excel skills to intermediate level.
  • An enthusiasm for data management and data metrics.
  • Desire to take ownership of a set of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Dynamic approach to work with a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Clear, calm and concise communication with colleagues; both verbally and written.
  • Not required, but beneficial, experience in / enthusiasm for the media industry.

£125 - £160pd candidate pay rate according to experience

Mon-Fri standard working hours 

Excellent Excel/ spreadsheets and ability to work accurately and validate data
