Broadcast engineering with a mix of support and projects with a view to becoming a full time Project Engineer.

Excellent knowledge across a wide range of current and emerging media technologies, including:
The end-to-end production processes of a live broadcast environment, preferably with specific news production experience
Post-production systems, preferably specific experience with AVID
IP-based networks and working with 2110
Live signal routing, preferably with EVS’ Cerebrum control platform
Field production and newsgathering
Encoding and streaming technologies, hardware and services
Audio Over IP, including transport systems such as Dante
Communications systems such as RTS or Riedel
Ingest systems such as Vantage, Content Agent etc.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience designing and delivering complex technical solutions on time and on budget, utilising the latest technologies
Experience working in a service-critical live environment
Broadcast engineering qualifications and training to at least degree level
Knowledge of risk assessment and good health & safety practice
Good communication skills, both written and oral
Proven problem-solving skills
Proven ability to cope well under pressure
A dynamic and flexible working approach
Experience working with project and departmental budgets
Experience working with external and internal service providers
