ASSISTANT PRODUCER
Our high profile sports coverage client, based in West London urgently requires an Assistant Producer to work across their UK live and post produced output. The role may require weekend work and antisocial hours with some travel to productions.
Skills and experience required:
- Good knowledge of broadcast environment & live production techniques
- Ability to produce / direct ENG camera shoots
- Working knowledge of non-linear editing techniques with a view to being able to produce fast turnaround edits across assigned programmes
- Ability to ensure delivery of content to tight deadlines
- Ability to contribute content ideas & suggestions
- Ability to self shoot - desirable, but not a necessity

- Organisational and planning skills, precise attention to detail and methodical approach to work
- Time management - demonstrable ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and be capable of making decisions under pressure
- Ability to take the initiative and work without supervision
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff and outside contacts
- Willingness to work flexible hours and days
- A good knowledge of sports is a must
6 Months Initial contract
full time, 5 day PW (need to be flexible on weekend work when needed)
A good team player
Ideally with Sport production experience, at least an interest in Sport
3 days pw on site West London, 2 form home, Hybrid working - Bur open to travel when needed including on weekends (as sports) on a variety of productions
Rate £140-£165 (gross per day to Umbrella)
